Without split testing

You optimize based on gut feeling instead of data.

You redesign your landing page and traffic drops 30%. You have no way to compare to the original.

You run two separate ad campaigns to different pages. Attribution is a mess, CPCs are doubled.

Your pricing page has a low conversion rate. You have no idea which element is the problem.

You publish a new headline. Is it better? You'll never know — you replaced the data.

With Revolink A/B testing

Test changes against real traffic and let data decide.

Run new vs old page side-by-side — same traffic source, clean comparison

One link in all your ads — traffic splits automatically, no duplicate campaigns

Test multiple variables at once — headline, price display, CTA button, layout

Keep the winner, drop the loser — update the link split when you have enough data

Set up an A/B test in 4 steps

No code. No third-party script. Works on any page you already have.

01

Create your page variants

You need two (or more) separate URLs to test — your original page and the challenger. Host them wherever you like. Revolink doesn't touch the pages themselves.

02

Create your A/B test link

2 min

In the dashboard: create a link → enable A/B Testing → add Variant A (your original URL, 50%) → add Variant B (your challenger, 50%). Adjust percentages as needed.

03

Add the conversion pixel (optional)

Paste a 1-line pixel snippet into your thank-you page. This lets Revolink track which variant led to the conversion — not just which got the click.

04

Share the link and read the results

Live

Use the A/B test link in your ads, emails, or social posts. The dashboard updates in real time with clicks and conversions per variant. When confident, push 100% to the winner.

Common questions

How does Revolink split traffic between variants?

Revolink uses server-side random assignment at the edge — each incoming click is assigned to a variant based on the percentages you set. Assignment is per-click, not per-visitor (no cookies needed), which makes it GDPR-compliant by default.

How many variants can I test at once?

Unlimited variants per link on all plans, including the free plan. Each variant has its own destination URL and percentage weight. The weights must add up to 100%.

Can I run an A/B test inside a conditional rule?

Yes. You can nest a split test inside a conditional rule — for example, run a 50/50 test only for German mobile users while everyone else goes to a fixed destination. This lets you run targeted experiments without polluting your overall test pool.

Where do I see the results?

The Revolink dashboard shows click counts, percentages, and conversion rates per variant in real time. If you've added a conversion pixel to your destination pages, you'll also see which variant converts better — not just which one gets more clicks.

Does Revolink declare a winner automatically?

No — Revolink shows you the data, and you decide when to call the test and push the winner. This avoids false positives from stopping a test too early. When you're ready, you can update the link to send 100% of traffic to the winning variant.

Is there a minimum traffic volume needed for A/B testing?

Statistical significance typically requires several hundred clicks per variant. There is no minimum enforced by Revolink — you can start a test with any traffic volume, but interpret results carefully if sample sizes are small.
