Without a smart download link

Two separate store URLs creates confusion and costs you installs.

You post the App Store link. Android users click it and see an error — wrong store.

Your bio only fits one link. You pick App Store and lose half your Android audience.

Your ad targets all mobile. Half the audience can't convert because of the wrong store URL.

Support inbox fills with 'the link doesn't work' from Android users who got the iOS link.

With Revolink

One link covers every platform. Every visitor installs.

iOS users tap → immediately open App Store listing for your app

Android users tap → immediately open Google Play listing

Desktop users click → land on your app's marketing page

One link in all ads, bio, emails, QR codes — permanently correct

Set up in 3 steps

Takes under 2 minutes. No SDK. No app changes.

01

Create a smart link

Pick your custom domain — e.g. go.yourbrand.com. Your new link will be go.yourbrand.com/get-the-app (or any slug you choose).

02

Add iOS and Android rules

2 min

Click Add Rule → Device → OS → iOS → paste your App Store URL. Repeat for Android → Google Play URL. Done — two rules, two store links, one smart link.

03

Set the desktop fallback

Done

Your website or app landing page becomes the fallback. Desktop users who click will see your full marketing page — or an explainer to download on mobile.

Common questions

Do I need to set up Universal Links or App Links to use this?

No. Revolink handles the device and OS detection at the redirect level — before the browser even opens. iOS users are sent to the App Store URL, Android users to the Play Store URL. No Universal Link setup, no SDK, no code changes in your app.

Can I deep-link into a specific screen inside the app?

Yes, if your app supports deep link URLs (e.g., myapp://product/123 or a universal link). Use that URL as your iOS or Android destination in Revolink. If the app is already installed, it opens to that screen. If not, the user lands on your store listing.

What happens if the user doesn't have the app installed?

They go to the App Store or Play Store listing, where they can install the app. After installation, they can open your link again and reach the correct destination. You can also set a web fallback for users who prefer not to install.

Does this work in email campaigns and bio links?

Yes. The same link works in email CTAs, Instagram bio, Twitter posts, ad campaigns, and QR codes. iOS users always land on the App Store, Android users on the Play Store, desktop visitors on your website — from one shared URL.

Can I track how many users came from iOS vs Android?

Yes. Revolink's analytics shows click breakdown by OS, device type, and country. You can see exactly how many clicks came from iOS, Android, and desktop — and which rule each visitor matched.

What if I only have an iOS app, not an Android app?

You set the iOS rule to point to the App Store. Android users and desktop users both go to your fallback — your website or a 'coming soon' page. You only need to set rules for the platforms you support.
